“ The remodel the restaurant is nice and the food here is still the same great taste. The salad bar hasn't changed (Still really good and you can stack your plate ). The inside could use some decor to spruce up the atmosphere but I get it, the place is still early in the reopening. The food is great and the service was great as well. This is a great place to get dinner. It's definitely a small town restaurant but that doesn't mean that's a bad thing ”

“ We had an all-around good experience here. Service was quick and friendly. It's easy to talk--not too loud nor eerily quiet. Having a trip to the salad bar is a nice option with meals. It's nicely stocked with sides like baked beans, potato salad, and beets. Pickled herring would put them over the top with so many Dutchmen around. Sigh. Lots of standard menu items. Don't come here for fusion food. Come for safe. A burger on rye toast is about as crazy as it gets. The name says it all. It's a nice community gathering place for all ages. ”
